How Long Would It Be Until My Braces Come Off?
Im 15 years old & have had my braces on for approximately 4 months. My teeth weren’t overly crooked there was only one that was not in line it was mainly my over bight. I’ve had my braces tightened twice & pretty much all my teeth are aligned & they’ve just put elastics & a softish wire on my top row.

i dont want to be rude or anything but 4 months isnt very long. the shortest time ive ever hear of having braces is about 11 months so you have a little while to go
i know people that have had braces for 6 years too so chin up buttercup!
someone told me though that the elastics are the last stage, but they are the longest
but youll definately need more than 2 tightenings my friend
just be patient

Don’t listen to summer too much (no offence summer) because my friend only had hers on for 6 months, so you could get them off fairly soon. However, if you’re orthodontist hasn’t mentioned anything about the amount of time you have left to go, chances are you’ll have them on for a few more tightenings (unless they’re going to make it a surprise for you). If they’re just fixing your bite it shouldn’t be too much longer, unless it is really bad, so if you get lucky you will have them off in under a year!
