August 09 – Consultation
Yesterday (9months later) – 2nd Consultation (X-Ray & Molds Done)
June 10th 2010 – First part of brace fitted
I’ve been waiting ages, it’s ridiculous!
Well, let’see. You’ll go for a quick evaluation. Then you’ll need to do a bunch of things like the mold, panoramic x-ray, etc, which will be all in one day. Then you’ll go back for another evaluation with all the material ready. Your doctor will tell you what will need to be done, and, depending on your problem, will give you some options.
You might need a palatal expander, which would delay things a little bit. But, ultimately, it’ll depend on the clinic you go to. The one I go to is a bit busy, so I can only get appointments for 7 or more days, which kindda makes things go slower.
I wouldn’t rush, ’cause even if you do get the braces fast, the treatment it likely to be at least a year long.
