My gums inside my top lip are very swollen after having my teeth whitened at Sam’s Club yesterday. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this swelling, & how long does it last?

Did the gel or whatever touch your gums?
That could be why. I’ve used some teeth whitening kits & they all say not to let the whitening gel get on your gums & if it does wash it of immediately! Its happen to me once. It lasted a few days.

You might had an allergic reaction, if the problem occurs again when you use the product stop using it immediately, & possibly call your doctor.
Furthermore, brushing teeth with baking soda & rinsing the mouth with 3% hydrogen peroxide whitens your teeth. Just make sure you don’t swallow the 3% hydrogen peroxide & dilute it with water.
Moreover, all of those products can be found at your drug store for around $2.

The swelling your are experiencing is more common with teeth whiteners purchased from K-Mart or Target. Because Sam’s Club does not sell such products, be certain that the source of the swelling is not due to lack of proper teeth & gum maintenance such as regular flossing & brushing or going to bed with bubble gum, candy especially sugar-daddies & m&m’s wedged between your lip & gum. If such is the case, as an experiment, try hitting the sack with sugar-laden snacks trapped in the lower lip area & see if such swelling takes place there. Keep us informed of your progress & good luck in finding the source of the swelling.
