i have gotten my wisdom teeth removed on monday, i have no pain at all, i just want to eat, but i cant really move my mouth normally, i believe my gums are still swollen & stuff, when can i eat normal again, i’m going on monday to remove the stitches can i eat normal then?

i have never had my teeth cleaned. i brush twice a day & floss. they are clean, but what would they be like after i have them cleaned by the dentist. super clean?

I got braces yesterday. From what I heard, your teeth move really quickly especially during the first month. So how many days/ weeks would it take for me to see my teeth change positions?

Can i wear braces on the next day of teeth scaling if not for how long i have to wait?

I recently removed my braces after 4yrs of treatment, but I noticed that my upper front teeth (4 front teeth) are slightly protruding (my friends teased me as part of the simpsons).. Can retainers complete the job of the braces after the braces are taken off? Can they tighten the gaps between teeth or do any minor changes to the overbite or slightly protruding upper teeth?

I had braces, got a retainer, wore it for a while, & then lost it. It’s been about 3 years since I got them off, & though I know they’ve moved around just slightly, they’re still as good as straight.
I understand that it all depends from person to person, but how much do teeth generally move? It’s hard for me to imagine that they’d really go back to the way they were, especially now after 3 years.

Anyone know how long swelling is suppose to last? The dentist were only able to remove the top 2 back teeth but not the bottom ones because it was in too deep in the gum line, but they still cracked them. My whole right side is swelled & it looks like I have a little ball stuffed in my right cheek, They gave me vikodin & some pills to prevent infection but I still feel pain & it hurts to open my mouth all the day. It’s the 5th day today & it’s stll swelled up. Anyone know how long this swelling will last?

I’m such a space shot. I got my braces off November 2007, & wore a retainer every night. I lost my retainer this summer & had to buy a $250 new one. Now I lost the new one!
I can’t afford to buy another & my mom won’t pay either. I’m just curious if anyone had issues only wearing a retainer for a year or if it turned out okay…

I just got my braces on, on Tuesday & my teeth hurt so bad! How long are they going to hurt for?

Two of my wisdom teeth were removed yesterday & I can’t eat anything without pain, I have been drinking tomato soups & baby food, Ive used warm water with salt to clean my mouth, but I still feel dirty & I can’t brush my teeth.
Do I have a risk for infection?

I had yellow teeth & used Crest Whitening Strips to make them whiter. The only problem is that they start changing back to their yellow color. Does anyone have any tips or anything to keep them staying white after using the strips?

I Brush my teeth 2 times daily for at least 3 to 4 minutes at a time & I reach all the way back by my molars & when i am done they still don’t have that clean feeling. Like when i run my tongue against them.

I had my wisdom teeth all removed last Monday Jan 18 .Today is Sunday Jan 24. I can open my mouth a little but when I try to open it, it hurts a bit. I can only brush the teeth in the front & the front of my tongue. What I can do to clean my breath?? I can’t stand stinky breath anymore!

I’ve been getting a new interest for drinking frappuchino’s but I’m really conscious of my teeth becoming brown or yellow. And I know that Orbit gum is dental referred & they say that you should rinse with water after you drink coffee & I’m wondering if I could just chew Orbit gum instead.

Just had quite an extraction 6 wisdom teeth (2 upper supernumeraries, extra wisdom teeth) & my upper bicuspids & lower second bicuspids so that is 10 teeth total in one surgery
I know that for the most part I can only eat cold or soft foods, but what are some ways to clean my mouth? should I brush my teeth, swish salt water around? how should I get food out of my tooth extraction holes?

I am getting my braces off tomorrow, after only having them on for four months, & Ive had a bottom retainer for a month now. And I am getting my top retainer tomorrow after they take off the braces. How long am I going to have to wear the retainer? They are Invisalign retainers.

Surely they will clean your teeth after a year & 4 months of having it stuck to your teeth! Some people are blessed with white teeth but mine seem to be normal with a few marks from where my interdental toothbrush can’t reach. I hope he does because whats the point of having straight teeth if your smile is horrible because of the marks?

Ok, so I’m leaving for college next Fri. & I was suppose to get my surgery today, but the referral expired & my appointment is now on Mon. Is it possible that the doctor can remove the stitches a little bit earlier than a week?

My wisdom teeth are growing in, & I’m supposed to get braces soon. Will they more likely remove the teeth after the braces are off or before I get them on?
