I am getting braces on wednesday & I was wondering how I clean my teeth once i have them on? And does it hurt when they put them on?

I’m getting braces tomorrow & my wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday, but I havent told my oral surgeon that I will be coming in for wisdom teeth surgery with braces on. I’m going to tell him tomorrow morning, but I just wanted to know if he will be able to remove them at all. Thanks!

Is it safe to brush your teeth right after taking it?

I have cavities & my teeth hurt when I eat certain foods so whats something I can use to protect them while I eat – something like a mouth guard. Thanks.

I clench my teeth at night. Sometimes it’s so bad that I wake up with tension pain in my jaw & neck & I can’t seem to fully relax my jaw. I know that a mouth guard is one option to protect my teeth, but that is a last resort for me because, 1. I can’t afford it right now & insurance won’t cover it, and, 2. It won’t really fix the clenching problem. So is there anything that you have tried to reduce teeth clenching that has worked pretty well?

My dentist doesn’t want to do fillings until the braces are off. (They haven’t been put on yet). I felt on odd occasions low level sensitivity on a couple my top teeth. I feel like he’s just holding back when he should do something.

I just got my dental braces today & haven’t bought any orthodontic brushes, yet. So, is it okay if I use a regular toothbrush until I buy the special brush?

Please don’t rant about how unsafe bulimia is; I’ve heard it all & I know that what I’m doing is not healthy, so don’t use this space to lecture me.
What I want to know is: how can I protect my body at least a little bit from the ramifications of vomiting up my food? I’ve heard that rubbing baking soda on your teeth afterward can neutralize the stomach acid. Are there other ways to protect your teeth? What about your esophagus & organs?

I’m curious… I have braces & what will happen if I make out with someone else who has braces too? will they get stuck together or something? & what if i make out with someone who doesn’t have braces? will my braces cut their mouth?
i’m not saying that i’m going to try it… I’m just curious.

I’m getting braces on next week & I already have spacers in. I’m getting braces on the top first then after 6 months then I’m going back to get the bottom ones.

My teeth arent too bad, but id like them whiter. I currently have braces though, i already brush multiple times a day, is there anything else i could use?

ok. so i wore braces for 3 years & wen i got them off i realized my teeth arent as white as i thought they were. after i got my braces off i kept forgetting to wear my retainer so i had my braces put back on. so now i have braces again for a year & would like to know how can i make my teeth whiter while wearing braces? Any good toothpastes that do that?

yeah, so i smoke weed, & i know it is less health hazardous than cigarette smoking, but I still want to protect my teeth while smoking weed. so i was wondering if you guys know of any products that you can put in your mouth while smoking that will block the smoke & heat from affecting your teeth or at least lessen the impact of it?

imma get braces tommorrow but i wanna know if i can remove my fully grown wisom teeth while having braces. because my dentist said i didnt have anymore space of ma teeth. please help

I have the clear retainers, like invisiline. If i wear them when i throw up (im bulimic, im trying to stop but its a slow process) will it protect my teeth?
